Triflex R Regional Sales Specialist - Eastern US
This position shall be responsible for assisting in the growth of the product line in the Eastern United States. This position will be working closely with key customers and TSM’s, while prospecting for new business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect and target robot integrators, machine builders and large end users.
- Create and develop a Smart Pioneer list
- Minimum of 15 weekly visits
- Assist Territory Sales Managers with joint visits
- Monitor and follow-up all large quotes and Smart Pioneers in the region.
- Attend trade shows as required
- Train customers on proper installation techniques and assist with installs where necessary
- Must have the ability to travel 50% of the time
- High level understanding of all expert systems and online tools
- Constantly updating product, industry and competitor knowledge
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, including as a driver or passenger in an automobile
- Ability to visit and move around at construction and other work sites, including the ability to maneuver in tight or small places for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh between 25 to 50 pounds
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience with ECS products, 1 year minimum
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience in Technical Sales experience required
- Strong technical skills: able to present technical concepts; provide customers with hands-on technique using our products
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Travel will be required to igus Cologne for an initial training program
- Additional travel to Trade Shows, with Regional Sales Managers or to Sales Meetings will be required, as needed
- Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding goals as well as strong negotiation and closing techniques
- Self-starter; motivated, team focused and results driven with developed organizational, and time management skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Ability to travel within United States and Europe
