Job summary

Trident Maritime Systems – Heavy Equipment Group in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a CNC Horizontal Dual Pallet Changer Machinist (HN80). You will set up, adjust and machine large complex weldments and parts with high precision on the HN80, following prints and contract details.

The role requires experience with Fanuc CNC, multi-axis machining, and the ability to meet routed hours. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work from complex drawings is essential.

Qualifications

• Fanuc CNC and G/M code knowledge is a plus.
• Blueprint reading and math skills are beneficial.
• Machining experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, exotic alloys is a plus.
• Experience machining large complex weldments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are currently seeking a CNC Horizontal Dual Pallet Changer Machinist (HN80) in our Rhinelander, WI location. In this role, you will setup, adjust and machining large complex weldments and parts on HN80 with a high degree of accuracy on various sizes and related dimensions up to 4ft. In addition, you will demonstrate the ability to meet routed hours with a high level of detail to quality and modify and create programs as needed to meet company and customer requirements.

MAJOR DUTIES

• Independently set up intricate parts and fixturing
• Work from advanced drawings and job layouts
• Machine intermediate to advanced parts with a high level of quality using materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys
• Make all parts efficiently within print/contract details using materials
• Overhead Crane operation and rigging
• Setup tooling using machine setup documentation
• Use drawings, specifications, and a wide variety of precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain equipment and safe work area
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic M & G Code, blueprint reading and math skills is a plus
• Machining knowledge in a manufacturing industry preferred
• Completion of Machining program is a plus
• Fanuc CNC experience strongly desired
• Multi-axis machining background including tool path verification and collision analysis is preferred
• Worked with materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys a plus
• Experience working with large complex weldments is preferred
• Experience setting up quality gauging

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds.
• Long periods of standing.
