Job summary

The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation is seeking a Tribal Juvenile Intake Officer in Mayetta, Kansas. The role assesses Tribal youth for PPC, CINC, and JO dispositions, and leads grant efforts to strengthen grant operations and outcomes. It also coordinates Amber Alert training for staff to locate missing or endangered children.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of related experience, and a valid Kansas driver’s license with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Assess Tribal youth to determine if they need assistance under PPC, CINC, or disciplinary measures for Juvenile Offenders.
• Lead grant efforts to ensure the grant process works effectively and efficiently.
• Serve as Tribal Amber Alert Coordinator and train personnel on missing and endangered children recovery.
