Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Manager in Development Advisory to lead Tribal Energy & Infrastructure engagements and mentor diverse teams. You will drive strategic planning, manage multiple client projects, and shape outcomes with strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication.

Responsibilities include advising on renewable energy development, tribal utility governance, and federal funding strategies, while leading grant and proposal efforts for new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum: a 4-year degree and 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience leading complex consulting projects and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as engagement manager and trusted advisor for Tribal governments and infrastructure clients.
• Lead strategic planning initiatives on energy sovereignty and infrastructure investment.
• Manage multiple client engagements with budgets, schedules, and risk.
• Facilitate executive workshops and governance meetings with Tribal leadership.
• Advise on renewable energy opportunities: solar, wind, storage, microgrids.
• Support Tribal utility development and governance structures.
• Assist infrastructure planning across energy, broadband, water, and transportation.
• Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses for investments.
• Guide clients on federal funding opportunities (DOE, BIA, USDA, etc.).
• Lead grant strategy, prioritization, and implementation planning.
• Lead proposal development and client pursuit activities.
• Mentor consultants and foster collaboration and excellence.
• Assess organizational structures and operating models for improvement.
