Qualifications

• Active New York State Bar membership.
• Four years of experience in trial level criminal defense preferred.

Responsibilities

• Appear at arraignments and court dates with clients.
• Review accusatory instruments and argue for dismissal where appropriate.
• Advise on bail and courtroom motions; prepare evidentiary hearings.
• Collaborate with investigators, social workers, and other attorneys to build defense strategies.
• Prepare post-conviction motions and pre-sentencing memorandums.
• Prepare for and conduct jury and non-jury trials.
