What You Will Do
As a Trial Counsel, you will manage your caseload from discovery through verdict, collaborating with paralegals, experts, and partners to achieve excellent outcomes. This role is ideal for courtroom warriors ready to lead trials.
- Serve as primary counsel in nursing home negligence, elder abuse, and medical neglect cases.
- Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, demands, motions, and legal memoranda.
- Develop case strategies, coordinate with experts, and craft compelling trial presentations.
- Lead depositions, jury selection, opening and closing statements, and examinations.
- Manage in-court logistics and team roles.
- Provide compassionate guidance through complex medical and legal issues.

Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active South Carolina Bar membership in good standing.
- At least 3 years of trial experience in nursing home neglect, elder abuse, or personal injury.
- Proven record of verdicts or high-value settlements (six- or seven-figure cases preferred).
- Exceptional advocacy skills in writing and speaking, with trial experience.
- Ability to independently manage a full trial docket.
- Strong work ethic and desire for growth.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
