The State of Ohio - Public Defender Commission is seeking an Assistant Public Defender in Ross County (Chillicothe). This trial-level attorney will defend indigent clients in misdemeanor and felony cases, handling case preparation, pre-trial conferences, hearings, and plea negotiations.

Based in the Ross County Office, you will work as lead or co-counsel in a close-knit team, delivering high-quality representation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Admission to Ohio bar; eligibility for practice in federal court and appellate matters may be required.
• Attorney must be licensed in Ohio and able to represent indigent clients in trial court.

Responsabilités
