Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an early career Trial Attorney in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will manage a high caseload, engaging with clients and advocating in trials within a supportive environment. You will have opportunities for professional growth, with dedicated office space and support from a case manager and paralegal.

Key responsibilities include managing approximately 150 cases, conducting depositions, and serving as lead counsel in jury trials. The ideal candidate will have a JD degree and be licensed to practice law in Virginia.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law with trial advocacy and/or moot court experience preferred.
• Active and in good standing with the local State Bar.
• Exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 150 cases, with around 50 in active litigation monthly.
• Maintain proactive and transparent communication with clients.
• Conduct depositions, draft and respond to motions, and lead mediations.
• Serve as lead counsel in jury trials.

Strong legal acumen and advocacy skills

Proficient in developing comprehensive case strategies

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree
