Protouch Staffing is assisting a renowned boutique litigation firm in Houston in finding a Senior Civil Litigation Associate Attorney. The role offers responsibility to manage a full docket, take cases through trial, and work on matters in insurance, energy, construction, and commercial disputes.

Qualified candidates will have a JD, Texas bar, and at least 8 years of civil litigation with 5+ years of trial experience, plus strong research and writing skills.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas bar license required.
• Minimum 8+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of trial experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to independently manage cases and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through trial and resolution.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert witnesses.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Provide strategic legal analysis and case evaluation.
• Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and reporting.
• Handle complex, multi-party litigation matters across various industries.
• Collaborate with team members while independently driving case strategy.

• Personal injury defense and mass tort matters

(Firm handles both trial and appellate litigation across these areas)

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
