Responsibilities

• Maintain follow-up on pending and on-hold samples to ensure quick turnaround times and minimize backlog.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance triage processes.
• Open packages and accession specimens according to established protocols as needed.
• Scan, check, and file paperwork to ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Support departmental workflow with routine and non-routine tasks.
• Maintain laboratory safety and cleanliness standards.
• Assist in orientation and training of new department members.
• Perform clerical duties to support operational efficiency.
• Adhere to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
