Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the GI/CHN clinical staff. The role applies the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education for patients and families and continuum of care planning.

You will collaborate with the health care team to set patient goals, evaluate progress, and support professional growth through ongoing learning aligned with Board of Nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Ability to plan and implement patient care using the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
