You will educate patients, document care, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Required two years of clinical nursing experience, strong documentation skills, and a working knowledge of MS Office.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years clinical nursing experience.
• Strong clinical documentation knowledge and skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional telephone triage nursing services to Hoag Clinic patients.
• Evaluate patient symptoms and determine urgency of condition.
• Make recommendations for escalation of care and provide medical advice on treating symptoms.
• Educate patients and incorporate available education materials.
• Document all nursing services in the patient record.
• Collaborate with health care team to ensure quality patient care.
• Comply with regulatory standards, including the California Nurse Practice Act.
