Job Description

As a Medical Assistant, you will deliver patient care that promotes safety and well-being. Responsibilities include:

• Obtaining and recording vital signs and patient information.
• Drawing blood samples and preparing specimens.
• Administering medications and vaccines as ordered.
• Performing routine tests like EKGs.
• Scheduling diagnostic tests and following up on results.
• Communicating test results and care plans with patients.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and rooms.
• Documenting patient care and test results accurately.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proof of Mandatory Reporter abuse training.

Additional Requirements for LPN

• Current LPN license issued by the State of Iowa.
• Preferred clinic or physician office experience.

Schedule

• Full-time, M-W, F 8am-5pm.
