Job summary

The Triage Engineering team is looking for an enthusiastic, and detail-oriented engineer to help deliver the next quality release of these products on Apple’s platforms.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming bugs, analyze logs, reproduce issues and help determine the correct resolvers, the priority of problems, while identifying emerging trends across the reported issues
• Design, develop and automate triaging of incoming bugs
• Drive quality and champion bug fixes by working closely with the development team and participating in root cause analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S or M.S in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Ability to utilize triaging, troubleshooting and debugging techniques
• Experience working with Git or other source control systems
• Expertise in using Gen-AI day to day

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Swift or Objective-C or C/C++
• Experience in building and deploying tools
• Understanding of ML/AI concepts and data analytics

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $123,700 and $218,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
