Job summary

Central Clinic Behavioral Health is seeking a Triage Clinician in Cincinnati, OH. This full-time role involves reviewing clinical information, determining level of care, and coordinating discharge planning within a fast-paced team.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in counseling or social work and current Ohio licensure. The position offers clinical supervision, licensure support, and a comprehensive benefits package.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
  • Ohio licensure (LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S desirable).
  • Clinical assessment skills and DSM-5 knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee transitional housing opportunities for individuals with severe mental illness.
  • Review clinical information and authorize treatment level of care.
  • Coordinate ongoing client care and discharge planning with a team.
  • Weekly case staffing with providers and clients.
  • Daily collaboration in a fast-paced team-centered environment.

Position Summary
  • Oversee transitional housing opportunities for individuals diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Review clinical information, determine level of care, authorize treatment.
  • Work on a team to actively coordinate ongoing client care and discharge planning to transition to less restrictive settings.
  • Weekly case staffing with providers and clients.
  • Daily collaboration in a fast-paced team-centered environment.
What We Value In Our Next Triage Clinician
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in counseling, social work, or other mental health related field; and current Ohio licensure. LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, and LPCC-S are all desirable.
  • Clinical assessment skills, understanding diagnostic criteria and symptom presentations outline in the DSM-5.
  • Working knowledge of the Hamilton County behavioral health system of care preferred.
  • A strong alignment with trauma-informed, person-centered care.
