Job summary

Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA seeks an experienced Behavioral Health clinician to evaluate and triage patients in the Emergency Department presenting with psychiatric or substance abuse concerns. This role reports to the Director of Behavioral Health Nursing and requires LICSW/LMHC licensure with a Bachelor’s in a mental health field; a Master’s is preferred and at least two years of clinical experience.

• Must have two years clinical experience.

• CPI achieved within 3 months of hire required.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, knowledge of psychiatric medications, and knowledge of mental health network required.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Computer skills and proficiency.
• Must have the ability to maintain confidential information.
