CHI Health has an immediate need to add a Triage Clinic RN (Nurse) to our Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Clinic! This position will be sitting at our CUMC-Bergan campus and floating to our Lakeside Campus!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p, No weekends, No holidays & No call!

Expectations:

1. Performs general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows.
2. May perform specific nursing care as it relates to the specialty of the practice.
3. Perform telephone triage for patients calling their provider with certain symptomatology.
4. Demonstrates the ability to use the nursing process to collect data. Requires interview/communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to level of licensure.
5. Ability to work within protocols approved by CHI Health to provide information to patients and consumers.
6. Accepts inbound calls from patients, pharmacies, and other healthcare entities.
7. Performs outbound calls to notify patients of reviewed lab and imaging results according to protocols that require review of the patient chart to answer questions.
8. Ability to follow medication refill protocols and act accordingly to those protocols.
9. Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
2. Graduate of an accredited nursing program
3. Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required

Pay Range

$26.38 - $38.26 /hour
