Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in ChampionsGate, FL is seeking a friendly hotel restaurant host to greet and seat guests in accordance with Omni standards. You will answer phone calls, manage seating, and assist guests throughout their dining experience.

The role requires attention to detail, a calm, organized approach, and teamwork with the hotel staff. Previous experience is preferred and physical stamina to stand up to eight hours is expected.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls

• Control heavy volume at Restaurant entrance
• Knowledge of hotel property
• Inform the guest about buffets
• Attend to and anticipate guests needs
• Familiarization with menu
• Greeting guests
• Knowledge of daily specials

Working Environment

• Interior of hotel, in the restaurant, and kitchen. Exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Exterior of Hotel with exposure to weather conditions. Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to food items and beverages.

• General office equipment such as computer, fax machine, copy machine, printer, telephones, hole punch, paper cutter, scissors, pen, pencil, paper, etc.
• Computer programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
