Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Capital Transmission Trimmer/Operator for full-time, non-exempt work. The role involves trimming and removing trees, operating powered trim lifts, and adhering to safety protocols in all weather.

You will work 4 ten-hour days, with overtime opportunities, and receive a union benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and per diem when applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to wear PPE as required.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Weather and terrain exposure in outdoor conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently.
• Must affiliate with the local union.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees using climbing gear or ground methods.
• Operate hand tools, saws, and chippers; assist in log handling.
• Maintain safety, set up barriers and direct traffic as needed.
• Inspect tools and equipment; report repairs; keep work areas clean.
• Work at varying heights and in all weather, following safety protocols.
