Job summary

Trimmers and climbers cut and remove branches to maintain clearance for powerlines, using ladders, saws, and chippers. This full-time, non-exempt role offers competitive hourly pay based on experience and a benefits package including health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees by climbing with ladder, safety belt, climbing line, or from ground using saws and pruners.
• Operates wedges, sledges, and chain saws for felling and trimming.
• Plan, assign, direct, and coordinate work.
• Obtain access and permissions from property owners for trimming/removal.
