Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber (DL Required) to trim, tops, and reshape trees for utility line clearance. This full-time, non-exempt role requires operating tools, climbing, and strict safety adherence. You will handle debris, set up safety barriers, and maintain equipment across job sites.

Key duties include assisting training, driving safety, and ensuring a clean, orderly work area while protecting workers and the public from hazards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights in demanding conditions.
• Work with hands above head for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Spray areas to prevent regrowth.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris into woodchippers.
• Safeguard workers and the public; set up barriers and signs.
• Assist training new employees and maintain equipment.
