Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Chapel Hill, NC, is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position. You will trim and remove trees, operate equipment, and contribute to crew safety in an outdoor setting.

The role requires climbing, lifting, and working in varying weather conditions, with opportunities to train others and grow within a company offering a retirement plan and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand–eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Load and unload trucks, feed brush into woodchipper.
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas orderly.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards.
