Job summary

Asplundh is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to join our field operations team in Raleigh, NC. This full-time, non-exempt position performs tree trimming and removal, operates and maintains equipment, and supports crew safety and site protection.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, able to work at heights, and comfortable working outdoors in variable weather. Training and advancement opportunities are available within our major utility vegetation management company.

Qualifications

• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.
• No fear of heights.
• Ability to work hands above head for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans debris and prepares work area.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates vehicles.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards.
