Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time, non-exempt work in Massillon, OH. You will trim and remove trees, operate equipment, and help maintain job sites while ensuring safety and efficiency on every assignment.

This role requires physical stamina for climbing and working at heights, with pre-employment screens and a commitment to safe practices in all weather conditions. Competitive hourly pay and a company-supported benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders or at various heights.
• No fear of heights; good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• C cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Performs maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, and drives trucks as assigned.
• Keeps work areas clean and safe; safeguards people from hazards.
