Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Ohio is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to safely trim and remove trees, operate and service the required tools, and contribute to efficient debris management in outdoor work zones.

The full-time, non-exempt position offers a competitive hourly rate, health and retirement benefits, and opportunities for training and advancement. Candidates must be 18+, comfortable with heights, and able to pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no prior tree-trimming experience required.
• Must be able to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits debris into manageable pieces and loads/unloads trucks.
• Maintains safe work areas and follows all safety protocols.
• Assists in training new employees and supports team tasks.
• Relays signals and directs traffic when blocking streets or driveways.
