Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Ohio for full-time, non-exempt work performing tree trimming and related tasks. You will operate equipment, load/unload trucks, and assist with safety and site setup.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, able to climb, have no fear of heights, and possess good hand-eye coordination. Pre-employment screening and valid driver’s license may apply. Benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc.
