Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in the United States is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim and remove trees, operate equipment, and maintain safe work areas at job sites across locations.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, paid hourly with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, EAP, retirement plan, and more. Candidates must be able to work from elevated positions and follow strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to climb and work from ladders at various heights.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Spray areas to prevent growth.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris into woodchipper.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards.
• Cooperate with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets.
• Set up barriers and warning signs.
• Assist in training new employees.
