Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time, non-exempt work in the field. The role involves trimming and removing trees, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety around work sites.

Responsibilities include debris handling, traffic control, and assisting with training new staff. The position requires physical stamina, comfort with heights, and a valid driver’s license if available. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks as assigned.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
