Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time, non-exempt work in Michigan. You will trim and remove trees, operate and maintain equipment, and assist with training new staff in a safety-conscious environment. The job requires climbing and working at heights, physical stamina, and teamwork.

Hours are hourly and competitive, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and EAP. A driver’s license is preferred, and pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders or at various heights under demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains housekeeping on trucks and at work locations.
• Assists in training new employees.
