Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming, removal and related tasks in a fast-paced field crew. You will operate and service equipment, load debris, and help maintain safe work sites while coordinating with team and customers.

The role is full-time, non-exempt with hourly pay and benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, EAP and disability coverage. Prior experience is not required; training provided on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights in adverse weather.
• No fear of heights with good hand-eye coordination.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Feeds brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives and operates trucks as assigned.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and at work locations.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
• Assists in training new employees.
