Job summary

Asplundh Careers is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in New York to trim and remove trees and branches, operate and service all required tools, and load debris for processing.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans, loads/unloads trucks, and prepares debris for chipping.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, and drives trucks as assigned.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and work locations.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
