Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming and removal tasks in outdoor environments. You will operate and maintain equipment, feed debris into a woodchipper, and assist in training new employees.

The role requires physical endurance and a focus on safety. Applicants should be at least 18, able to work from ladders at various heights, and willing to work in diverse weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights in adverse weather conditions while handling equipment.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Spray areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Load/unload trucks.
• Feed brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repair minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Service gasoline, air, and hand-powered tools and other equipment.
• Relay hand signals, direct traffic, drive and operate trucks and equipment.
