Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber to join our Florida team. This full-time, non-exempt role performs tree trimming, climbing, and related outdoor tasks with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment, loading/unloading trucks, and assisting in training new staff. Entry-level applicants are welcome; pre-employment drug screen and background checks may apply. A driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights in demanding conditions.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks; feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains tools and equipment; ensures safety around work areas.
• Trained for tree and bucket rescue; assists in training new employees.
