Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber to join our field crew in Sanford, NC. The role involves trimming and removing trees, climbing, operating and servicing equipment, and contributing to safe, efficient yard and site work.

This full-time, hourly position offers a benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, EAP and disability coverage. Pre-employment screenings apply; driver’s license preferred, and willingness to work at various heights is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and MVR checks may be required.
• Must be 18+ and able to perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service tools and equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards.
• Set up barriers and traffic control.
• Assists in training new employees.
