Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Charlotte, NC. This full-time, non-exempt role involves trimming and removing trees, operating and servicing a range of equipment, and maintaining safety around the job site.

The position supports load/unload of materials, brush feeding to woodchipper, and routine upkeep of tools and trucks. Pre-employment screenings may apply; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while performing demanding tasks.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees, branches, or trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Spray areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Load/unload trucks and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Repair minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintain safe tools, trucks, and work areas.
