Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a motivated Trimmer/Climber in Pilot Mountain, NC. The role entails trimming and removing trees, operating and servicing tools, loading debris, and maintaining safe work zones while coordinating with crews and the public.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with competitive hourly pay. Candidates should be able to work at heights, pass pre-employment checks, and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• Previous experience in tree trimming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
