Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees to clear utility powerlines in Ohio. This full-time, non-exempt role involves operating tools, loading trucks, and performing outdoor work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while performing demanding work.
• Must be willing to join local union and pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Casts debris into manageable pieces and loads/unloads trucks.
• Sets up barriers and safeguards to protect employees and the public.
• Relays signs, directs traffic, and assists training of new employees.
