Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber (DL Required) in Virginia for full-time, non-exempt employment. The role trims, tops, and reshapes trees to clear powerlines and operates essential tools.

The job requires physical work in varying weather, adherence to safety protocols, and potential travel. Applicants must be 18+, have no fear of heights, and hold a valid driver's license, with pre-employment checks possible.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related-damage to lawns, fences, and walk-ways.
• Provides safety to employees and the public around work area.
