Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber in Colorado. This full-time, non-exempt role involves trimming/removing trees, operating equipment, and maintaining site safety. You will load, unload, and transport gear while assisting in training new staff and upholding company standards.

The position offers a starting wage of $18.53 per hour with weekly pay, a company-sponsored retirement plan, comprehensive health coverage, EAP, and disability insurance. A driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks and equipment.
