Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC is seeking a full-time, non-exempt Tree Trimmer to prune, trim, and reshape trees to maintain clearance for utility powerlines. The role involves operating tools and trucks, loading debris, and ensuring public safety on work sites.

The position requires physical stamina, the ability to work in all weather, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to train others. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are available based on tenure and location.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; entry-level position.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush and debris into woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related-damage to lawns, fences, and walk-ways.
• Safeguards employees and public from hazards in the work area.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc.
