Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim and remove trees and debris, operate specialized equipment, and ensure safety on site. A valid driver’s license is required, and the role involves lifting, climbing, and working in varied weather conditions.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina are essential. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with potential for on-site training and advancement within field operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights and ability to work in varied weather conditions.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination required.
• Able to walk, climb ladders, and work on uneven/slippery surfaces while handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent regrowth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and assists in transport.
• Relays hand-signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks as needed.
• Keeps work area clean and safe; safeguards employees and public from hazards.
