Essential Functions

1. Cut and/or trim using various industry best management practices.
2. Use wedges, sledges, and chainsaws in felling trees or trimming trunks, and in cutting and splitting logs into manageable pieces.
3. Apply herbicide to prevent further growth as indicated on maps.
4. Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris, and feed brush into a woodchipper.
5. Utilize best management practices to safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
6. Inspect tools, trucks, and equipment; request repairs or replacements when necessary; maintain good housekeeping at trucks and work locations.
7. Commit to working safely daily.
8. Perform other related work as assigned by superiors.

Starting Package

Between $25 - $39/hr.
