The Davey Tree Expert Company in Wheeling, IL is seeking a Sales Representative who will educate customers about tree care needs, provide estimates, and help develop annual plant health care programs. You’ll build relationships with new and existing clients, supervise crew members, and assist the District Manager in guiding the team.

Qualifications

• Love of outdoor environments.
• Must obtain ISA Certified Arborist after hire.
• Requires valid driver’s license.
• Regional plant and horticulture knowledge helpful.
• Good people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized.

Responsibilities

• Learn to work as a tree doctor that makes house calls.
• Educate residential and commercial customers on tree needs.
• Provide customers with estimates based on their needs.
• Develop and update annual plant health care programs.
• Create and build relationships with new and existing clients.
• Set up and supervise crew members assigned to customer jobs.
• Learn to be part of the office and field management team.
• Assist District Manager in directing the team.
