Job summary

River City Tree Service, located in Valley Park, Missouri, is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Groundsman to join their crew. The ideal candidate will work both independently and as part of a team to maintain safety while carrying out landscaping tasks.

Responsibilities include identifying hazards, loading and unloading debris, and maintaining tools. A valid driver's license is necessary, and the ability to lift over 50 pounds is required. This full-time position offers benefits including health and dental insurance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• CDL is not required, but willingness to obtain is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Identify and prevent on-site hazards.
• Gather and carry brush to the truck/chipper.
• Load and unload logs, brush, and debris.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Willing to work weekends for emergencies.
• Operate and maintain necessary tools.
• Enforce safety practices for crew.
• Report punctually and prepared.
• Think critically and ensure safety.
• Learn to identify trees and bushes.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
