Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber to join our General Tree Care Team. You will climb, prune, and care for clients’ landscapes, following industry safety standards and using proper practices for large shade trees and ornamentals.

You’ll operate chainsaws and aerial lifts, perform removals and cable bracing, and collaborate with a crew to deliver high-quality service while maintaining a safe work environment. This outdoor role offers community-facing property visits.

Qualifications

• Experience pruning large shade trees and ornamentals
• Ability to identify tree/shrub species and their characteristics
• Ability to climb without spurs
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards
• Hands-on experience with chainsaws and related equipment
• Experience operating bucket trucks

Responsibilities

• Climb and prune large shade trees and ornamentals using proper practices
• Perform removals, cable bracing, and other tree care techniques
• Safely operate chainsaws, equipment, and aerial lifts (bucket trucks)
• Work as part of a team to deliver high‑quality service to clients
• Apply industry safety standards in all aspects of tree care
