Job summary

SavATree Careers is seeking a Tree Climber to join our General Tree Care Team. You will maintain and preserve the health of clients’ landscapes by climbing and pruning trees, performing care techniques, and operating equipment safely.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, skilled in tree care, and has hands-on experience with chainsaws. Join our values-driven organization dedicated to teamwork and making a positive impact in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices for large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree/shrub species and their characteristics.
• A valid U.S. driver's license (CDL a plus).

Responsibilities

• Climbing and pruning large shade trees and ornamentals using proper practices.
• Performing removals, cable bracing, and other tree care techniques.
• Safely operating chainsaws, equipment, and aerial lifts.

Skills

Climbing without spurs

Knowledge of tree care safety standards

Chainsaw operation

Experience with pruning practices

Ability to identify tree/shrub species
