SAVATREE is seeking a Tree Climber to join our General Tree Care Team in Northvale, NJ. This role involves climbing and pruning large trees, performing removals and cabling, and safely operating chainsaws and bucket trucks to serve clients’ landscapes.

Qualifications

• Experience pruning large shade trees and ornamentals
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree species and their characteristics
• Climb without spurs while performing tasks safely
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards and best practices
• Hands-on experience with chainsaws and related equipment
• Experience operating aerial lifts (bucket trucks)
• Valid U.S. driver's license (CDL a plus) and authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Climb and prune large trees and perform removals and cabling as needed
• Carry out tree care techniques including cable bracing and other methods
• Safely operate chainsaws, equipment, and aerial lifts
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to clients
• Apply industry safety standards in all tree care tasks
