Job summary

Joshua Tree Experts in Connecticut is seeking a skilled Tree Climber to join a 2–4 person crew and perform tree removal, pruning, and preservation tasks. You will lead safety-first operations, maintain equipment and vehicles, and communicate with clients and the public at job sites, ensuring professional service and reliable teamwork in a safety-focused environment.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years of tree climbing, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
At least 4 years of tree climbing experience.
Valid driver's license.
Understanding of aerial lift operations.
Availability to work at least 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Safety & Standards: Maintain a strong commitment to company safety culture; understand and adhere to ANSI standards for tree care operations; execute safe aerial lift and tree climbing procedures.
Crew & Site Leadership: Delegate tasks effectively to Groundsman Operations Specialists; follow directions from and communicate clearly with the crew leader and team members.
Equipment & Vehicle Care: Properly maintain, inspect, and care for assigned vehicles and tree care equipment.
Client & Public Relations: Maintain a professional image on the job site; deliver excellent customer service; communicate effectively with clients and nearby members of the public.
