The Davey Tree Expert Company in Wickliffe, OH is hiring a Tree Trimmer who will prune and remove trees, address diseased limbs, and support landscape safety for clients.

You’ll climb with Davey systems, work with a crew, maintain tools like chainsaws and chippers, and participate in safety training and career development programs. Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Preferred forestry/horticulture/landscaping background or working at heights.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred pesticide licenses/licenses if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prune and remove trees safely for clients.
• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems with a crew.
• Install cables, bracing, and lightning protection as needed.
• Maintain, prepare, and operate chainsaws, chippers, and related equipment.
