SavATree is seeking a Crew Lead Tree Climber in Vancouver, OR to join our General Tree Care Team. You will lead a crew performing pruning, removals, and cabling with a focus on safety and quality. Climb trees, operate equipment, and oversee job sites to protect landscapes.

You must be proficient in pruning techniques, tree and shrub knowledge, and safe work practices, with leadership responsibilities expanding for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Authorization to work legally in the U.S.
• Passion for working outdoors and environmental stewardship

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality tree care services including pruning, removals, and cabling for trees and shrubs
• Climb trees safely using proper techniques, ropes, saddle, and ladders
• Operate chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other tree care equipment effectively
• Apply pruning standards and safety practices in all tasks
• Ensure proper pruning cuts and preserve tree health and structure
• Assist in tree removals with ropes and safety gear as needed
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks before, during, and after each job
• Maintain communication with team members and clients to ensure safety and service
• Take ownership of the role and contribute to a safety-focused team culture
